About the Artist
 Joe Gallant is a full-time coastal artist whose work appears in a number of visual formats. He works primarily in oils and watercolors. The use of transparent watercolor in his paintings creates a glow that admirers will recognize from across a room. Gallant's technique is loose and spontaneous, and his art is full of interesting color interactions. He defines his style as "impressionistic-realistic of America's coastal beauty." Gallant's originals, prints, boxed notecards, boxed holiday cards and frameble birthday greetings are available on this website and in nearly 70 coastal galleries and gift shops. His original designs will also appear on a line of Soft As a Grape casual clothing in 2011. He paints custom scenes for individuals and businesses. Wholesale inquiries are welcomed for all products.
