About the Artist

Cape Cod watercolorist Joe Gallant is a full-time artist whose work has been purchased by collectors around the world.

The use of transparent watercolor in his paintings creates a glow that admirers will recognize from across a room. Gallant's technique is loose and spontaneous, and his art is full of interesting color interactions. He defines his style as "impressionistic-realistic of New England's natural beauty."

Cape Cod's Enterprise Newspapers wrote: "His paintings have a dream-like, luminous quality...and evoke feelings in the viewer of abiding love for the beauty of Cape Cod."

He accepts commissioned work and was recently selected to paint the John F. Kennedy Museum in Hyannis, Massachusetts. He has painted dozens of architectural subjects for real estate developers, businesses and homeowners. In addition, Gallant accepts commissions for custom works portraying children, adults, pets and "favorite scenes."

Gallant's originals, prints and packaged notecards are available in many New England galleries and gift shops. Wholesale inquiries are welcomed.

Joe Gallant also offers private and group watercolor lessons. Please contact him for details.
